Erin Chamberlin-Snyder M.D. FAAFP is a medical physician that specializes in the medical treatment of obesity/overweight and related conditions. She is a diplomate and certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. She is currently serving as a trustee on both the Board of American Society of Baricatric Physicians (ASBP) and the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (ABBM). She is a national speaker for ASBP's Obesity and Associated Conditions symposiums and Regional Obesity Courses as well as teaching primary care physicians (PCP) the "Basic Medical Weight Loss Techniques".

She will be part of a distinguished speaker faculty at the 5th annual world congress on obesity to be held at Washington D.C. in September 2010.

A soon to be published handbook on the treatment of obesity written by the ASBP for physicians will contain a chapter about behavior modification written by Dr. Chamberlin-Snyder. She is also currently creating two of the teaching modules to be included in the online fellowship program soon to be offered by the ASBP.
