Grocery Shopping
-Try to stay on the outside of the store. That is where most of the stuff you really need is such as your produce, meat and dairy. Only go down and isle if you need and item from that isle. Do not wander through each isle, its easier to impulse buy.
-Try to plan your meals in advance. That way you know what to shop for at the grocery.
- Make a list. Stick to it. If you did not think you need it when you are home looking in the fridge and cabinet you probably don't need it all of the sudden at the store.
-Do not go to the store hungry. Everything looks good when you are hungry and it can increase impulse shopping.
-Chew gum while you are at the store.
-Take the store backward. Display items (usually impulse items) are set up to face the "forward" direction.

At Home
- At home watching TV? Exercise during the commercials.
-Good exercise can be squats and lunges. Try doing them in sets of 10.
- Try standing while you are watching TV, instead of sitting.
- Dance with you kids, or even by yourself to music on TV or movies.
